A man in this little village just behind Gokulam donated his house for a free school for children whose parents could not afford the school fees of the government school. If the parents can't afford the fees the children remain on the street. The teachers are volunteers or get paid very little. Simi and Tina are helping the school in different ways. Last year they donated 60 uniforms, because half of the children did have not one. This year the number of children in the school has come up to 150, maybe also because they've added a preschool class.
This year's donation was four badly needed computers. We were there when they were delivered. It was a very moving moment. On top one of the brand new computers waiting to be installed.
